Over the years I've worked on a variety of other projects that have appealed to my interests. Below is a selection of them.
Eucl3D is a 3D printing start-up seeking to enhance the video game experience by creating unique gaming merchandise. During my time with Eucl3D, I spearheaded the company's outbound sales strategy, researching and reaching out to prospective clients. I was able to bring in dozens of qualified leads and in the process found a number of ways to improve the efficiency of our sales process.
People's Test Preparation Services
I believe that giving back to the community is one of the most important things a person can do. As a member of PTPS while in college, I spent a semester teaching a weekly SAT preparation class with a partner to 20 low-performing, low-income students. Together we taught them strategies to tackle the writing and critical reading sections of the test, including ways to overcome the ambiguity of the essay portion. On average, our students' scores increased by 262 points.
TapWalk is a start-up that strives to improve people's lives by creating mobile applications for large events and venues. As a marketing and sales intern I researched and contacted prospective clients and negotiated deals in the B2B space. I then worked with these clients to plan and create custom mobile applications to fit their needs and budgets. During the course of the internship I also researched the industry and improved the company's sales presentations and documents.
Even in high school entrepreneurship appealed to me and so I individually ran a t-shirt business, designing and producing custom t-shirts for various clubs and departments. In about two and a half years I produced hundreds of t-shirts and raised approximately $1,700 for charity.
